29. (TIE) Harlon Hill, Chicago Bears: 51 Points

Not many people would have guessed that the Chicago Bears–who are famous for running the ball–would have a player on the 30 best wide receivers of all-time list, but that is exactly what they have in Harlon Hill. In the mid-1950s Hill burst onto the NFL scene and became one of the league’s top pass catchers. Although his success was relatively short-lived, he still left quite the mark on the Chicago Bears’ franchise.

Twice (in his first two seasons) Hill led the NFL in touchdown receptions. His third season may have been his best, but he failed to lead the league in any specific category. He was named a Pro Bowl player in his first three seasons and was First Team All-Pro in his second and third years. He was one of the best deep threats the game had ever seen, if only for a few years. His dominance does warrant a place on this list, though.
