NFL Week 14: Who’s still alive in the playoff chase?

Heading into Week 14 of the NFL season, there are 21 teams with a chance of making the playoffs. 21!!!

All 21 of those teams are now within two games of first place of their respective divisions, which means this show is just getting started.

More from FanSided

The NFL has figured out scheduling to the point where games are properly weighted for the situation. It creates a lot of hope among the fans that their team always has a shot to rattle off a couple wins in a row and then the team is in the playoffs.

Compare that to other sports like the NBA and MLB, and the stakes are much, much lower on a nightly basis. The NFL will always have that going for them, I guess.

Instead of talking about scheduling, though, let’s get to the nuts and bolts of the playoff race and find out which teams are still alive and which teams have a better chance than other in advancing to the playoffs.

For this breakdown, I’ve laid out each division, the teams from that division in the playoff hunt, listed their remaining games, and predicted who’s in and who’s out.

I hope your favorite team makes the cut!
