Then everyone — including Gruden — remembered what a diva RGIII was and the wheels have come off. Amid reports that the locker room has been lost, Jay Gruden is all of a sudden on the hot seat after his first season.
Should Jay Gruden be fired to keep Robert Griffin III happy, it appears that Baylor head coach Art Briles may be Washington’s only option — and an unlikely one at that.
NFL Network reporter Albert Breer chimed in with his own analysis, stating that Briles leaving Baylor and that state of Texas is not something anyone thinks he’s going to do.
The list of good reasons why Briles should leave Baylor and coach the Redskins for the one year he’d be allowed to isn’t very long at all. The bottom line is that the Redskins cycle through head coaches the way Kim Kardashian cycles through new outfits every day.
Brides runs an offense that Robert Griffin III worked very well in, this is true. It was also a college system that worked in college football with a college quarterback — a little different from coaching in the NFL under one of the worst owners sports has ever seen.
