The College Football Playoff picture was set in stone on Sunday afternoon, and Nick Saban celebrated an expected No. 1 ranking in a total Nick Saban way.
Nick Saban is not a man who gets excited about many things. He’s like one of those old 1900s farmers who get really excited about the rain but could give less of a sh-t about something that people actually care about.

Saban had that old-timey swagger to him when his Alabama Crimson Tide claiming the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoffs. They were the first team announced in the standings, but that was nothing that surprised Saban.
In fact, he looked like he was fully expecting the announcement to happen as he calmly put his drink down and golf clapped.
That is the most excited that Nick Saban has ever been in his entire life. It doesn’t get any more cheery than that, as Saban couldn’t have given off a less nervous vibe than he did before the announcement his team was No. 1 in the country was made.
It’s not like Alabama being named No. 1 was that big of a surprise, and it’s also not like it gives them any sort of advantage. They’ll be matched up against a hungry Ohio State team, which is going to be a rough matchup.
Saban isn’t nervous though, as nothing makes this man nervous — except spilling his tea.
