The Holiday Bowl match up for this season will feature a battle between the USC Trojans and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The Holiday Bowl is traditionally one of the more exciting match ups of the college football bowl season and this year will be no different as we’re getting a match up between two of the more traditional powers in the game of college football.
This year in San Diego, we will see the USC Trojans of the Pac-12 take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Big Ten.

USC has a rather up and down year in 2014 under first-year head coach Steve Sarkisian, however they did show some promise. Getting a win in this game will go a long way in getting the team’s confidence up heading into next season.
Nebraska is coming into this one having just lost their head coach, Bo Pelini, who was fired following the end of the regular season. He was replaced by Mike Riley from Oregon State, who will have no role in this one. For the Huskers, this is simply for pride.
The Holiday Bowl this season will be played on Dec. 27 out in San Diego inside Qualcomm Stadium. It is slated for an 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
