Rich Rodriguez and his Arizona team fell short in their rematch against the Oregon Ducks in the Pac-12 Championship Game but as a consolation prize they get a bowl game in their home state as they’ll take on the Mountain West champions in Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 31.

Arizona finished their regular season with a 10-3 overall record and included wins over three ranked teams, including No. 2 Oregon on Oct. 2. The health of quarterback Anu Solomon will be worth monitoring through bowl practices to see if his ankle injury that has lingered in recent weeks and forced him to leave the Pac-12 Championship Game against Oregon will prevent him from being close to 100 percent for the bowl game.

Boise State is in the middle of an eight-game winning streak to close their regular season and come into this Fiesta Bowl matchup with all the momentum while Arizona is reeling after a blowout loss. The Broncos have the nation’s No. 9 scoring offense at 39.5 points per game and are led by running back Jay Ajayi who has rushed for 1,689 yards and 25 rushing touchdowns and quarterback Grant Hedrick who has thrown for 3,387 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Who do you think will prevail in the Fiesta Bowl between Arizona and Boise State?

Will the home-field advantage be the x-factor or can the Broncos continues their winning ways and pull off another upset in the Fiesta Bowl?
