2015 NFL Draft Order: Buccaneers Move To No. 1 Pick
By Cory Buck
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers would pick first in the 2015 NFL draft if the season were to end after Week 14.
The ignominious but secretly awesome prize of first overall pick in the NFL draft will go to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if they can just lose out for the rest of the season. For the most part, that’s what this franchise can most look forward to between now and next season as the Bucs are one of five teams at 2-11 vying for that top overall pick.

Thanks to the fact that they play in the worst division in the NFL by a mile, the Buccaneers have the softest strength of schedule to date, which stands as the tie-breaker for teams with like records in the draft order.
After the Oakland Raiders picked up their second win of the season over the San Francisco 49ers, they released their stranglehold on the worst record to drop into a five-way tie, which is currently topped by Tampa Bay.
In addition to Tampa and Oakland, the New York Jets, Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars each sit with two wins on the season.
With just three games left, it will come down to who wants that top pick the most. Who can just roll over and absolutely tank out for these last three games? The suspense will be gripping and only the most ardent of tankers can pull it off. For now, the Buccaneers sit in pole position.
