Chicago Bears‘ wide receiver Brandon Marshall says that he would have buyer’s remorse on the contract signed by quarterback Jay Cutler before this NFL season started.
Hey, Brandon Marshall is just a businessman, man.

He’s not just taking a shot at his quarterback and former good buddy Jay Cutler. He’s not airing out his frustration with poor quarterback play in a disastrous season by going off on the radio.
Nope. Brandon Marshall is just a businessman talking about business stuff.
Recent reports suggested that the Bears are souring on Cutler and that they have ‘buyer’s remorse’ on the seven-year, $126 million deal that the quarterback signed this past off-season ($54 million guaranteed).
Given the chance to defend his boy in the midst of those grumblings, Brandon Marshall did the opposite. As quoted in the Chicago Tribune:
"“That’s tough, man,” Marshall said on his radio show. “What I would say is we all know Jay is more than capable of getting it done. It doesn’t always fall on him. I guess that’s why those guys are the highest paid players out there. Because when you win and everything is going good, they get all the glory. And when it’s bad, they take more than what they should take. But I can understand that as far as as a business man, I would have buyer’s remorse, too.”"
This comes the same season that Marshall and Cutler were reportedly shouting at one another in the locker room. Maybe the frustration of a bad season ended early by injury is getting to Marshall, but these notes are still striking to see.
Back in their days on the Denver Broncos, these two were besties. Those days, it appears, have passed.
