Brett Favre Has Returned To Green Bay

Former Green Bay Packers and NFL superstar quarterback Brett Favre has returned to Green Bay to honor Bart Starr.

There have been talks about Brett Favre returning to the Green Bay Packers and getting back into their good graces over the past year, and he is back in town this afternoon to honor Bart Starr. He has been waiting to return back to Green Bay until Starr was healthy enough to get out, and the time has finally come. At this point in time, there is no news of Favre planning to attend the Packers’ Monday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Needless to say, this is a step in the right direction for Favre and the Packers to unite once again. He has meant so much to the franchise and the fans, and it would be in everyone’s best interests for him to appear at a game in the near future.

Perhaps he will surprise everyone and decide to attend Lambeau Field tonight and root on his former team.

It will be intriguing to see if he does end up attending the game tonight or if he waits for another time. No matter what he decides, this news has a lot of Packer fans extremely excited about welcoming him back with open arms.

Despite the fact that he went and played for one of the most hated rivals that the Packers have, the fan base is willing to forgive him. He has been taking baby steps to get back into the good graces of the fans, and attending tonight’s game would be an ideal moment for him to take the final step. Green Bay is in the middle of a season where many expect them to make a serious run at the Super Bowl, and perhaps getting Favre back on the board would add even more momentum.

No matter what ends up happening, it’s good to see Favre return to Green Bay even if it is just for a lunch. There is definite excitement from the Packers’ fan base to see him back in the friendly confines of Lambeau Field. Perhaps tonight will be the night, or if not the time is quickly approaching that he will return home.
