A lot of people make comparisons when it comes to Johnny Manziel, but has anyone thought of Johnny Football as Johnny Bravo? Well, now they have.
When people look at Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback and former Heisman winner Johnny Manziel, they generally think a lot of things, good or bad. Some people just might even say that he’s a little cartoonish.
Hmm, cartoonish. That begs the question: What cartoon character, past or present, could be held in comparison to the most polarizing player in the game of football at any level?
Well, Bleacher Report nailed it right on the head. Johnny Football is…Johnny Bravo!
Check out this hilarious video below they came up with that more or less replaces Bravo with Manziel for the iconic opening sequence of the show.
Yeah, the resemblance is uncanny, making this comparison perfect. Now you’re probably asking yourself who is smoother, Bravo or Manziel; and well, there really is no definitive answer to that because Bravo has had a little more staying power throughout the years. We have to see how long Manziel can stay relevant in pop culture first.
He’ll be getting his chance soon for relevancy, it appears, as the stranglehold that Brian Hoyer once had on the Browns starting quarterback job seems to be loosening and it could soon be Johnny Football time in Cleveland.
