Philadelphia Eagles offensive players gave credit to the Seattle Seahawks defense, which shut them down in a road victory.

The Seattle Seahawks defense sent an emphatic message in Philadelphia in their 24-14 victory over the Eagles. Led by their Legion of Boom secondary, the Seahawks were so stifling that even Eagles players had to admit they were down with LOB, adding, “Yeah, you know me.”

“That’s a really good football team we played,” Eagles QB Mark Sanchez said, per ESPN. “They played really well in their zone and their man [coverage]. They took away a lot of opportunities. They put us in a lot of third-and-long situations that made it difficult. They have a sound system with great players in every spot.”

Tight end Zach Ertz concurred with his quarterback. “I like to think I can get open regardless of how good a guy is, but they were better than us [Sunday] and eliminated some things.”

Even coach Chip Kelly got in on the act, reserving his biggest praise for All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman.

“I think Richard is the best corner in the league right now,” Kelly said. “He’s proven it. I don’t think we did a good enough job from a protection standpoint for [Sanchez], but Richard played really, really well.”
