TCU Fans Blow Up Twitter Over Trevone Boykin Heisman Snub

The Heisman Trophy Finalists were announced on Monday night, but TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin was not among the names honored.
It will be a college football season remembered by TCU fans as one in which the school was consistently screwed over by the NCAA on a number of occasions. Not only were the Horned Frogs dropped from No. 3 in the country to No. 6 by the College Football Playoff Committee but their star player was snubbed by the Heisman voters as well.

The Heisman finalists were announced on Monday night with Marcus Mariota, Amari Cooper and Melvin Gordon being the three players named. Trevone Boykin was not among the players mentioned as up for the Heisman trophy and that was a final straw for many fans in Texas.
TCU fans torched Twitter over Boykin’s snub, many of whom highlighting how the snub basically sums up the entire season for the school when it comes to treatment by the NCAA.
One fan deviated from the flaming balls of hate that TCU fans were throwing to offer up some hope for the 2015 season and next year’s Heisman vote.
TCU fans can only wish at this point.
