With all the hype for the first ever College Football Playoff heating up, an Alabama fan took to Twitter to heckle some Oregon fans who were displeased with the recent switch back to the “O” on their helmets.

Rather mistakenly, the fan decides to call him out on Twitter and reference the number of National Titles the Ducks have. He goes on to say that he thought they were doing like the high and mighty Crimson Tide and placing the number of championships on their helmets just like Alabama does.
As you might expect this set off a major ruckus on Twitter where this poor Alabama fan was crucified.

What is it about sports that makes seemingly otherwise normal fans turn into such crazed animals? We all know that Alabama fans are a little crazy for their team but is this something that is normal? Is this something that you think makes the game better or does it give the game a black eye?
I for one think it tends to put a bad light on the fan base of the Crimson Tide. It seems like they have been good enough over the past several years that they would not need to make any extra noise over the silliness of another teams fans discussing their uniforms. I mean after all, who does not love to tune into an Oregon Ducks game to see what this weeks uniforms look like?I know that I always do.
As always share your thoughts in the comments section below and tell us your thoughts about this fan and what this does for the fan base of the Crimson Tide!
