Cutcliffe has had several impressive seasons with the Blue Devils who are certainly more known for their hoops prowess than their ability to field a strong football team. Cutcliffe certainly seems to have the Devils heading in a great direction. But for a school in such dire straits to reach out to a 61-year-old Cutcliffe what would that look like for either side?
Would that even be a good fit for Cutcliffe who is in a great spot right now with Duke? Should Michigan reach out to a younger coach who can be a stronger recruiter? Earlier rumors had the Wolverines reaching out to current Tennessee Vols coach Butch Jones who reportedly is already in his dream job.
This could be nothing more than a quick are you interested type of call, but for some it may seem the brass at Michigan are really beginning to sound the alarm. What do you think? Who should the Wolverines look to in order to fill the vacancy and get this program back to contention for a national title? Sound off and let us know what you think.
