Carolina Panthers and star NFL quarterback Cam Newton has been injured in a car accident and was taken away on a stretcher.

Cam Newton has been struggling through a bit of a rough season this year with the Carolina Panthers, but now there is major concern spreading after he was injured in a car accident this afternoon. His car was overturned and he was taken away on a stretcher from the scene.

Needless to say, our prayers are with him and his family through this time. More information will become available in the near future, but until then there are only a few tweets that show what happened and talk about the accident. We will keep this story as updated as possible.
