As reported by NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski, the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers are in the works to get a deal done sending long time veteran Andrei Kirilenko to the league doormat 76ers. AK47 would figure to see as much playing time as his 33-year-old body could handle as one of the few talented players to be potentially rostered by the perennial tanking 76ers.

Kirilenko has yet to play a game this season for the Nets and many people believe it to be his dislike for head coach Lionel Hollins.

Further reports from Wojo have the nets unloading a second-round pick along with the aging Kirilenko in order to complete this transaction.

Rumors have been circulating all day that the Nets are looking to unload many different players including Deron Williams, Brook Lopez and the highly overpaid Joe Johnson. To some people it would look like Mikhail Prokhorov has decided to throw in the towel and shed his team of some of these overpaid and aging former star players and look to rebuild for the future.

With the Nets at an already poor 8-11 in the lackluster Eastern Conference, if they do not get some wins, they will be spending a TON of money to not even have a shot to compete for a title. But for me I believe this is primarily a money driven issue.
