WWE2K15 has underwhelmed in a lot of ways for gamers, but one thing the developers got right was to make sure Chris Benoit was in no way a part of the game.

If you have played WWE2K15 and wanted to play as Chris Benoit — first of all, why, and second of all you won’t be able to. Thanks to the the developers of the game not being crazy, they’ve managed to make sure that all traces of Chris Benoit will not be a part of the game in any way, including user uploads.
Gamers can upload wrestlers using face-mapping, which has led to Chris Benoit popping up all over the WWE2K15 servers. This has led to the banning of users who violate the very strict no-Benoit rule that should go without saying. Gamers have been finding out that if they upload or use face mapped Chris Benoit wrestlers, they will be banned from the servers without warning.
This is a rule that really goes without saying, as Chris Benoit is a monster who shouldn’t at all be remembered for anything other than being a murder. If you don’t know the story, Benoit murdered his wife and child in their home back in 2007 and then committed suicide at a later date after living with the dead bodies.
It was a heinous incident and one that gamers are apparently willing to overlook for the sake of a fake — and frankly underwhelming – video game.
