Buffalo Bills

When you first take a look at this game, it should be said that the Bills put together a great game plan to shut down Peyton Manning. Lost in that gameplan, however, was C.J. Anderson. The second-year back out of California had three touchdowns and the Bills had no answer for the Broncos’ rushing attack all game. For a team that had to start journeymen Kyle Orton because of E.J. Manuel’s inconsistent play, this Bills team has surprised a lot of people. However, because of losses to the Chiefs and the Texans, the chances of the Bills making the playoffs are slim.

For their next three games, Buffalo will host the red-hot Green Bay Packers, go on the road to play the lowly Oakland Raiders, and travel up to Foxboro the play the New England Patriots. Stranger things have happened, but if the Bills want to make the playoffs, they will need to beat two of the best teams in the NFL and Oakland, who has been playing well over the past few weeks. The Bills have made tremendous improvements in 2014, but when they get back Kiko Alonso in 2015 and get more talent on the offense, this will be a much more dangerous team. This year, however, the Bills are all but finished with three weeks left in the season.
