New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and a number of his teammates are reportedly not pleased with the team’s triangle offense.
The New York Knicks have been a disaster this season, winning just four of its first 23 games of the 2014-15 NBA season.

Among the Knicks’ many problems is their offense. Under new coach Derek Fisher, the Knicks are running the famous triangle offense this season, but it simply hasn’t worked so far.
New York ranks just 21st in points per possession this season, despite having Carmelo Anthony and a number of talented offensive players.
With the offense flailing, Melo and other Knicks players are pointing the finger at the new offensive system, according to the New York Daily News.
"A source confirmed an ESPN report that Anthony, along with several other Knicks, is frustrated in the triangle offense which is the preferred system of rookie head coach Derek Fisher."
Regardless of Melo’s and his teammates’ frustrations, as long as Phil Jackson is the President of Basketball Operations and Fisher is the head coach, the Knicks are going to run the triangle.
But this is a part of a bigger issue. The Knicks are simply unraveling.
ESPN also reported Wednesday that Anthony and teammate Tim Hardaway Jr. recently engaged in a verbal altercation that nearly turned violent and the team is having serious chemistry issues.
However, instead of blaming the system or teammates, the Knicks need to come together if they are to have any shot at turning this season around.
