In a heated game last night against the Dallas Mavericks Tony Allen does what he does. First of all he brings unending energy and passion but secondly he never fails to entertain the crowd. At this pivotal point in the game the referee awards possession to the Grizzlies and Tony celebrates by showing the world his best dance moves. Tony decides the referee needs a little bit of help and does a change of possession call and a dance all wrapped up in one.
Now I am not sure if Tony was auditioning for Dancing with the Stars or if maybe he is interested in a career as a referee when he is done with the NBA but whatever it is you can bet that Tony will continue to bring passion to whatever he chooses.
Not only did Tony deliver a fantastic dance performance in this game but he also had a decent line for a defensive specialist with 13 points, 2 assists and 2 steals in 31 minutes as the Grizzlies delivered their 17th win on the season to stay tied for second place in the western conference and a game and a half out of the lead.
