15 Biggest Draft Busts in NFL History
By Bryce Olin
8. Bruce Pickens, CB
The Atlanta Falcons drafted Bruce Pickens third overall from Nebraska in the 1991 NFL draft.
Pickens was supposed to be a lock-down cornerback like he was in college, but it was very apparent that would never be the case.
Pickens played in 48 games for four teams in his four-year career. Pickens never started more than four games in any of his four seasons in the league. Even more disappointing, Pickens only recorded two interceptions. Not so great for the third pick in the draft.
