Cardinals QB Drew Stanton Carted To Locker Room With Knee Injury (Video)

The Arizona Cardinals might be down another quarterback as Drew Stanton was carted to the locker room following a foot injury.
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton was carted to the locker room on Thursday night in the second half of the game with the St. Louis Rams after suffering what appeared to be a knee injury.
Stanton was in the pocket when he was met by Rams rookie defensive tackle Aaron Donald. As Donald was ripping Stanton to the ground, you can see the knee twist awkwardly.
Yes, indeed something wasn’t right there, as it looks like the knee may have given way on the play, although we won’t know anything until the tests come back.
Stanton was immediately taken off to the locker room for evaluation.
This is bad news for the Cardinals in the sense that this could be the second quarterback the Cardinals lose for an extended period of time this season. Drew Stanton is in there at the starting spot because of the torn ACL that was suffered by Carson Palmer a few weeks ago.
But again, we won’t know anything until the tests come back and it’s revealed what sort of damage was done to the foot on the play, and we will keep you updated.
