Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick takes “Madden” very seriously, as evidenced by him doing a surprise onside kick when playing a kid at a children’s hospital.

More from Dallas Cowboys

Orlando Scandrick is a talented cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys. He also is apparently a competitive freak that showed no mercy when playing “Madden” against a kid in a children’s hospital.

Scandrick’s teammate Justin Durant tweeted about the corner’s recent behavior at the Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas.

"Scandrick played a kid in Madden at Children’s Hospital and hit him wit a surprise onsideHe was winning and going for 2"

While rude on Scandrick’s part, this is absolutely hilarious. Like, funniest-thing-I’ve-read-in-a-long-time type of funny.

Making this ridiculous story even more ridiculous, Scandrick was unwilling to apologize for his behavior, according to ESPN.

"“Nothing is going to be given to you, so I don’t think I should have gave him anything,” Scandrick told ESPN.com on Thursday."
"“I made him better if anything. “I wasn’t teaching any lessons, but when you play a competitive game, you’ve got to expect to be competitive. If they didn’t want you to go for two and to kick onside kicks, it wouldn’t be on the game.”"

Scandrick truly might be the most competitive person out there.

Never change, Orlando. Never change.
