During the Oklahoma City ThunderCleveland Cavaliers matchup, Kevin Durant had some choice words for teammate Jeremy Lamb

Kevin Durant has only been back for four games, but he’s already getting slightly annoyed with his teammates, especially Jeremy Lamb.

CBS Sports tweeted this:

In Thursday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Durant had a huge mismatch with Cavs’ guard Matthew Dellavedova guarding him as Lamb brought the ball up in transition. Durant tries to get a seal on Dellevadova, and ends up with Dellevadova on his high-side. All Lamb has to do is just toss it over the top of Dellevadova and Durant has an easy bucket. Instead, Lamb swings the ball around the perimeter, and needless to say, Durant is not happy.

While it might seem harsh to the common viewer, exchanges like this happen all the time in the NBA. In Durant’s defense, Lamb had just missed a lay-up in transition after taking on three Cavs’ defenders with Durant trailing the play for a wide-open 3-pointer.

Maybe, when the MVP of the league has a ten-inch height advantage over his defender, you should just throw him the ball.

Durant is averaging 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 29.3 minutes per game in his first four games of the season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are missing LeBron James for the game due to knee soreness. Late in the second quarter, Kyrie Irving landed awkwardly and appeared to hyperextend his knee. He stayed on the floor for several minutes before being helped to the locker room. It’s unknown whether he will return for the second half.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers were tied 47-47 at the half.
