By Evan Massey
9. Roger Staubach
1969-1979
22,700 Yards, 153 Touchdowns, 109 Interceptions
The Dallas Cowboys have had some great quarterbacks in their time, but none better than Roger Staubach. He was voted as the greatest Cowboy of All-Time back in 2010, and he had the success to prove it. There isn’t a more deserving player for this ninth spot in the top-30 rankings.
Staubach finished his career with six Pro Bowl appearances and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. He was named the 1971 Super Bowl MVP and won the Player of the Year award the same year. In addition to all of that, he led the Cowboys to four Super Bowl appearances and won two of them.
He compiled a career 96-35 record throughout his career and also had an 11-6 postseason record. Staubach’s best season came in 1979 when he threw for 3,586 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
