26. Joe Namath
1965-1977
27,663 Yards, 173 Touchdowns, 220 Interceptions

Joe Namath played in the NFL during a time period where the league wasn’t all about quarterback play, so he can’t be compared to the current quarterbacks. He was a dynamic player who was extremely charismatic, and was a fan favorite from day one. The interception numbers don’t look great, but play has changed a lot since then.

He made the Pro Bowl five times throughout his career, and was an All-Pro one time as well. In 1985, Namath was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and he is also known for leading the New York Jets over the Baltimore Colts 16-7 in Super Bowl III. Needless to say, his name is going to come up in any true football fans top-30 and forgetting him would be a huge mistake if that did happen.

Namath ended up with a career record of 64-64-4 in his career, and was 2-1 in postseason play as well. His best career season came in 1967 when he threw for 4,007 yards, 26 touchdowns, and also 28 interceptions. Once again, the interception numbers were much more inflated back in his day, and can’t be compared to today’s NFL.
