Nick Young is never shy about speaking his mind. The Los Angeles Lakers guard would like to see his teammates be the same way.
Young reportedly spoke to Jordan Clarkson and Jeremy Lin requesting them to talk back to fellow teammate Kobe Bryant when he’s talking trash to them.
Nick Young pulled Jeremy Lin and Jordan Clarkson to the side after practice and told them to stand up for themselves after Kobe got on them.

Bryant absolutely unloaded on his Lakers teammates after a practice Wednesday and it appears his pointed comments went completely unchecked.
Kobe rode Lin during practice; daring him to shoot. "I talked his a-- right into that bull----. I talked his a-- right into that bull----.”

Kobe during practice: "We’re soft like Charmin. We’re soft like s---.”

It makes sense why Young wants Lin, Clarkson and Co. to get after it with Kobe. Having confidence in one’s self is critical to having success on the basketball court. Also, going toe-to-toe with Kobe is surely something that will help Lakers players garner respect from Bryant.
Still, that’s easier said than done when Bryant is a mood like the one he was in at Wednesday’s practice.
The Lakers are 6-16 through 22 games this season.
