Taylor Swift could need a new Houston tour date if the Astros make the playoffs
Note: the date of the Taylor Swift 1989 tour show at #MMP is subject to change if it conflicts with an #Astros postseason home game.

I’m shocked that someone even approved this tweet.

I am all for optimism. I believe in miracles: if the Houston Texans can basically ride to the post-season on J.J. Watt’s back, the Astros can probably figure out a way to see playoff action again before I die.
Like I said, though — the Texans are doing well. Houston isn’t allowed to have more than one good sports team a year; there’s optimism, and then there’s being a little bit deluded…and then there’s this.
Have the Astros even made the playoffs since they left the Astrodome? Wasn’t that in 2000? I suppose they have…but Chicago swept, so it’s probably better to pretend that they just haven’t seen the post-season as a member of the National League, ever.
I would have to guess that they told Taylor Swift about the date conflict, and any male members of her management team basically told her to smile, nod, and forget this was even brought up. Hunter Pence is gone, Houston… and he’s never coming back.
Carry on, Houston Taylor Swift fans. Nothing new to see here. Plan your concert attendance with no concerns for the jokes told by Astros Twitter.
