Craddock had earlier won the Lou Groza Award as the top place-kicker.
Hackett, a junior from Melbourne, placed 35 of his 77 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line and was third in the nation in gross average at 47 yards per punt.
He has steadily improved in his three seasons in Salt Lake City, with his gross average going up from 38.9 yards as a freshman to 43.4 yards in 2013 to 47.0 this season.
In addition to the 35 punts inside the 20, 23 of his boots ended up as fair catches.
His longest punt of the season was a 70-yarder in the season finale at Colorado on Nov. 29.
Utah will play Colorado State in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 20.
The other finalists were JK Scott of Alabama and Austin Rehkow of Idaho.
The Ray Guy Award is presented by the Augusta Sports Council and is named for the Hall of Fame punter from Southern Miss who later went on to play for the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders.
