We have a bit of a college football analyst fight on our hands Friday between Paul Finebaum and Tim Brando.
Friday on the Paul Finebaum Show, there were some comments made about the lovely area of Shreveport, Louisiana and how South Carolina can’t seem to sell any tickets for their Duck Commander Bowl appearance. John Hayes, the producer of the Paul Finebaum Show, took some jabs at Shreveport, which no doubt made people that are from that area a bit perturbed.
How do we know this? Well, fellow college football personality Tim Brando is pissed.
Brando immediately took to his twitter account and he unloaded.
Of course, a good amount of the conversation was surrounded around the corporate conglomerate that is ESPN, which now backs the Finebaum Show and the SEC Network.
Cheap shots against communities that have BOWL games has no place in Intercollegiate sports.Want me to talk about Bristol Ct.?Don't think so

Some yay hop Producer from the BIG10 taking shots at my town. Below you Paul. The game exists because among others ESPN wants it to exist!
— Tim Brando (@TimBrando) December 12, 2014
Then it got a little personal.
Gutless Paul! Wanna talk you have my number!
— Tim Brando (@TimBrando) December 12, 2014
Now Brando feels betrayed. Et tu, Paul?
Your Producer made but Shreveport. Who knows nothing about my hometown. We're friends and expected more from you!
— Tim Brando (@TimBrando) December 12, 2014
Now, according to Tim, Paul is just too good for him now to have a conversation about this.
Paul knows my number but he won't call because I'm not one of his Corporate BOYS! Paul's done this before but it's no less CHEAP! A shame.
— Tim Brando (@TimBrando) December 12, 2014
And…he’s not stopping soon.
I'll defend my hometown until my dying days. @finebaum made a horrible error allowing his rookie Producer to take him down a horrible slope!
— Tim Brando (@TimBrando) December 12, 2014
CALL HIM, PAUL!
Like I said Paul you got my number! Wanna talk? Guessing NOT!
— Tim Brando (@TimBrando) December 12, 2014
Finally, as with everything else, it always comes back to ESPN.
Let's see ESPN owns the Bowl system. @finebaum works for them, but not selling tickets at S.Carolina is Shreveport (my homes) fault. Please!

College football is the greatest, you guys.
