Marcus Mariota won the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night in one of the most predictable Heisman Trophy wins ever, but that didn’t stop Alabama fans from feeling robbed that Amari Cooper didn’t win it.
It was of little surprise that Oregon quarterback and potential No. 1 overall draft pock Marcus Mariota won the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night, but there was one large sect of fans pretty pissed off that their guy didn’t win the award.

I’m talking, of course, about Alabama Crimson Tide fans — who else could possibly be talked about here other than Bama fans?
Despite the overwhelming odds that Mariota was going to win and the foregone conclusion that the night proved to be, fans in Alabama are still pretty angry that the Heisman voters snubbed the nation’s best wide receiver of the most coveted prize in college football. Cooper is more than deserving of the award, but he just didn’t have the hype that Mariota had.
That doesn’t mean Mariota didn’t deserve it, but don’t try telling that to any Alabama fans tonight as the rage is building in Tuscaloosa that could result in a football explosion that propels the team to a national championship.
can we hurry this up, amari cooper has better things to do
