Many fantasy football owners have already finished their season, but week 15 is absolutely vital for those of us with games still on the slate. The last thing any owner wants right now is injury uncertainty when you need your players the most–the playoffs. However, as is inevitable with football, injuries will play a role in determining your season. Just ask any Arizona fan you know. Since that’s the case, let’s take a look at a quick week 15 injury update on the fantasy-relevant players who are dealing with injuries heading into Sunday’s games. All information includes the latest news through Saturday morning.
Running Backs
Jamaal Charles-Kansas City Chiefs: Charles should be locked and loaded as the Chiefs take on the Raiders on Sunday despite an ankle injury. Charles has owned Oakland recently and is a great play in your playoff game this week.
Arian Foster-Houston Texans: Foster has been an RB1 this year when he’s on the field. He’s expected to play Sunday against the Colts after earning a probable tag as he continues to battle his ankle injury.

C.J. Anderson-Denver Broncos: Anderson was limited on Thursday in practice, but he returned on Friday and is probable for this week. Anderson will be the lead back for Denver against San Diego this week and is a nice RB1.
Rashad Jennings-New York Giants: Jennings is expected to have a reduced workload again this week as he tries to get back to 100%. Jennings is not someone you should have in your lineup this week, and Andre Williams is risky since it’s not clear who will get the work Sunday.m
Ryan Mathews-San Diego Chargers: Mathews hasn’t practiced all week and is questionable for Sunday against Denver. He probably will not play, and even if he does will probably be too limited to use for fantasy purposes.
Reggie Bush-Detroit Lions: Bush missed Wednesday’s practice and was limited on Thursday and Friday. He is expected to play a limited role in Detroit’s week 15 matchup against Minnesota, so look elsewhere for your flex play this week.
Bobby Rainey-Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Rainey is questionable and no member of the Bucs’ backfield should be in your lineup this week.
DeAngelo Williams-Carolina Panthers: Williams will be available only in an emergency situation on Sunday which sets things up nicely for Jonathan Stewart to have a nice game against Tampa Bay.
Wide Receivers
Julio Jones-Atlanta Falcons: Jones is questionable for Sunday after a monster game carries his owners last week. If he’s active against the Steelers, he’s a must start, but his absence in practice this week is concerning.
Andre Johnson-Houston Texans: Johnson is questionable or this week and isn’t cleared yet for Sunday. If Johnson is out, DeAndre Hopkins could be in for a huge day against the Colts.

DeSean Jackson-Washington Redskins: Jackson is 50-50 to play on Sunday according to Coach Jay Gruden. The Redskins offense is such a mess that I’d look elsewhere if possible for Sunday.
Percy Harvin-New York Jets: Harvin is questionable after sustaining an ankle injury last week, but Coach Rex Ryan gave the impression that he’ll be ready to give it a go on Sunday against Tennessee. Harvin is a major roll-of-the-dice given the Jets QB situation, but his injury shouldn’t keep him out of the game on Sunday.
Torrey Smith-Baltimore Ravens: The reports all week have been negative on Smith, but he earned a surprising probable tag. He could suit up Sunday against Jacksonville but may be limited or used more as a decoy so avoid him if possible.
Brandon LaFell & Julian Edelman-New England Patriots: Both of the Pats’ top two wide receivers earned questionable tags this week, but both should play on Sunday. They both represent decent flex plays, but New England’s weapon’s value is always determined by gameplan.
Kendall Wright-Tennessee Titans: Wright is questionable for Sunday with a hand injury and the Tennessee QB situation makes all the Titans high-risk plays.
Quarterback
Colt McCoy- Washington Redskins: McCoy has been cleared to start against New York. Unless you’re in a dual-QB league, McCoy doesn’t belong anywhere near your roster though.
Tight Ends
Julius Thomas-Denver Broncos: Thomas is expected to be all systems go this week against the Chargers, so you have to start him if he’s on your roster and you don’t have another elite option.

Charles Clay-Miami Dolphins: Clay has been limited all week and is listed as questionable heading into Miami’s game in New England. He’ll most likely suit up, but his injuries make him a very high-risk start unless your league plays two tight ends.
Jermaine Gresham-Cincinatti Bengals: Gresham is going to be a gametime decision week 15 and should be avoided in all formats.
