All the information that you will need to watch the presentation of the 2014 Heisman Trophy to the best player in college football.
With the college football regular season now over, it’s time to crown the newest Heisman Trophy winner, and we will do so on Saturday night.
This season we saw some great individual performances from some of the best talent that the game of college football has to offer. However, in the end, only of of them can be crowned as the Heisman Trophy winner, which unquestionably recognizes the best player in college football for a given season.
Last year’s winner of the award was Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston. However, he is not one of the finalists for the award this season. No, this year, we are guaranteed a new Heisman winner.
Three candidates were chosen this past week to head to the Big Apple for the festivities, and here are the names of the three talents up for the prestigious honor.
1) Marcus Mariota; QB, Oregon Ducks
2) Amari Cooper; WR, Alabama Crimson Tide
3) Melvin Gordon; RB, Wisconsin Badgers
These are definitely three deserving candidates, but only one can walk away with the bronze statue.
