Former NFL superstar wide receiver Chad Johnson left a $300 tip for a waitress on Sunday.
Chad Johnson has broken the trend of well known professional athletes leaving small tips for waiters or waitresses this season. He had a family dinner on Sunday and decided to leave a $300 tip for the waitress with a very nice message at the bottom.

Needless to say, this is finally some good media as far as NFL players’ eating habits and their tipping habits as well. Johnson has always been a classy guy that has loved the fans, and this is just another kind thing that he has done off-the-field. There is no question that his tip made his servers day, and is probably the best tip that they have ever received or likely will ever receive.
Here is the picture to prove that Johnson did indeed leave the large tip:

Obviously this is a very cool story, and it is rightfully beginning to get some media coverage. Johnson’s name looks much more normal on his card information on the receipt now that he has changed his name back from Ocho-Cinco.
