Aaron Rodgers Was Completely Shut Down

While the Buffalo Bills do have a very solid pass defense, the way that they shut down Aaron Rodgers wasn’t even close to being expected. Rodgers has always found ways to play through great defenses, but that wasn’t the case against Buffalo. He completed just 17 of his 42 passing attempts for 185 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.

His passer rating of 34.3 was the lowest that he has seen in quite some time, and his frustration was obvious throughout the game. This is the first time since the very beginning of the season that anyone has figured out how to slow down Rodgers, and other teams will be taking notes. Rodgers will come out next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looking to get revenge on this poor performance.
