For an AFC West clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders in Week 15 of the NFL regular season, the Chiefs found a way to honor Bryan Burwell, a longtime columnist for the St. Louis Dispatch who lost a battle with cancer earlier this month.
The Chiefs placed Burwell’s name on a placard and left an empty seat in the press box in his honor.
