Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota won the 2014 Heisman Trophy last night, and it wasn’t really to the surprise of anyone. For New York Jets fans who are already giving up hope on Geno Smith and Michael Vick, the New York Post has a suggestion with a catchy slogan.
On the front page it says “Suck For The Duck” with a picture of Mariota, suggesting the Jets tank and lose their final games to try and win the first overall draft pick in the NFL Draft.

It isn’t the first time we’ve seen a campaign like this. When Peyton Manning was with the Indianapolis Colts and out for the season with an injury, a “Suck For Luck” campaign emerged. That paid off pretty well for the Colts.
That means a lot of fans are cheering for teams they normally wouldn’t.
Safe to say fans of four NFL teams also at 2-11 are pulling hard for Bucs to win today, more than many Bucs fans are. http://t.co/XnAvnUZn96
