5. Sean Lee, Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are very much alive in the postseason contention, but as of right now they would not make it if the playoffs started today. His presence on the defense would make them a much better team, and they could use his leadership as well. Even without him, the Cowboys’ defense has still done better than it was expected to.

Lee finished the 2013 season recording 99 tackles, four interceptions, and a touchdown in just 11 games. He is a sure tackler and a playmaker defensively, although he hasn’t recorded a single sack in his career. Injuries have been a major part of his career, as he has played in just 46 games throughout his entire career.

Dallas could really use Lee on the field to make the playoffs, but that isn’t going to happen. He has been missed in a big way this season.
