The NFL playoffs are right around the corner and the cream is rising to the top as teams start to get eliminated as the weeks go by.
The NFL Playoffs are going to begin at the end of the month, and while the spots are drying up in the AFC, there are still three playoff tickets yet to be punched.

Over on the AFC side of things, the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots all clinched division titles yet again. That leaves just a tie-breaker separating the Broncos and Patriots for the No. 1 seed and just three spots left for as many as four or five potential playoff teams.
Green Bay losing to the Buffalo Bills not only kept the Bills season alive but it knocked the Packers out of the No. 2 seed. The Detroit Lions capitalized on the upset loss by beating the Minnesota Vikings and moving into the No. 2 seed behind the NFC leading Arizona Cardinals. There were no playoff spots clinched in the NFC, but teams like the San Francisco 49ers dropped out and have been officially eliminated.

There are still two weeks left and a handful of teams alive for the three remaining playoff spots, and it’s looking like this will be one heck of a finish to the season in the NFL.
