But there are multiple games in each time slot, so you can’t watch them all at the same time. You might not even be getting them all in your market, and the folks at 506 Sports have made some interesting maps that show you which games are being aired where.
CBS’s line up all got compacted onto one map, making it very colorful and complex. For the most part games are being aired in their respective markets. The game between the Miami Dolphins and the new England Patriots is clearly the national game, being aired in a slew of markets unrelated to the game. For some reason there are pockets of the country getting the Denver Broncos game against the San Diego Chargers, like Tampa Bay, Charlotte and Green Bay.
This is the map that everyone was discussing this week. The Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills clash was the big game of the week until it was announced that the Cleveland Browns would start Johnny Manziel, then the lower half of the country turned green.
The big afternoon game on Fox is the showdown between NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers.
