The NFC playoffs are right around the corner and the cream is rising to the top as teams start to get eliminated as the weeks go by.
The NFL Playoffs are going to begin at the end of the month, and while the spots are drying up in the AFC, there are still three playoff tickets yet to be punched.

It wasn’t as easy going in the NFC as it was in the AFC on Sunday as three teams clinched their divisions in the other conference while NFC teams stumbled and fell out of contention all over the map. The biggest wrench thrown into the gears was the Green Bay Packers losing to the Buffalo Bills. What that loss does is it opens up the road for the Seattle Seahawks to win the No. 1 seed in the NFC by simply winning out.
Seattle won the first of those last three games against the San Francisco 49ers in a game that bounced their division rivals from playoff contention. The Packers loss coupled with the Detroit Lions win over the Minnesota Vikings means that the Lions are now in first place in the NFC North and are in control of the No. 2 seed for now.
Here’s a look at the AFC Playoff Picture and what things would look like if the playoffs began today.

There are still two weeks left and a handful of teams alive for the three remaining NFC playoff spots, and it’s looking like this will be one heck of a finish to the season in the NFL.
