On Sunday afternoon, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback William Gay set a franchise record when he intercepted Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan for a touchdown.

The Pittsburgh Steelers jumped out to an early lead over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon and cornerback William Gay set a franchise record in the process.

Gay intercepted Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and returned the pass 52-yards for a score.

Not only did the pick-six put the Steelers up by two scores, it set a franchise record with his third interception returned for a touchdown this year.

William Gay also returned interceptions for a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts. With the hot start from the Pittsburgh defense, the Falcons are struggling to get the ball moving and could soon find themselves trailing to an insurmountable lead.
