Kevin Love With The Full-Court Outlet To LeBron James (Video)
By Phil Watson
Kevin Love’s outlet passes off the rebound are a throwback, like watching Wes Unseld in his prime with the old Baltimore Bullets. He showed one off again Monday.
Kevin Love is a real weapon with his ability to throw that old-school, two-hand, over-the-head outlet pass after he cleared a rebound off the defensive window.
Love showed that skill off again Monday, hitting a wide-open LeBron James for a flush on a fast break in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 97-88 win over the Charlotte Hornets at Quicken Loans Arena.
Love had one of those Kevin Love-type games against the Hornets—22 points, 18 boards, five assists and 4-of-9 from 3-point range—while LeBron finished with a game-high 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting and dished out 13 assists.

The Cavaliers are 14-9 with the win and came into Monday one game behind the Chicago Bulls in the Central Division and fifth in the Eastern Conference.
It’s been a time of adjustment for the Cavaliers in the first quarter of the season as new faces Love and James (and seemingly more than half of the roster) have gotten used to holdovers Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Anderson Varejao and Tristan Thompson.
The expectation was that the Cavaliers would dominate the NBA. Why that was the expectation defies explanation—did we learn nothing from the growing pains the Miami Heat had to go through in 2010-11 when James and Chris Bosh joined forces with Dwyane Wade?
