Which five NBA teams would be ideal potential landing spots for Lance Stephenson if he does get traded?

The Charlotte Hornets signed Lance Stephenson away from the Indiana Pacers this past offseason in free agency, and now after a slow start they could be looking to trade him. There have been rumors flying around over the past couple of days about the Hornets shopping Stephenson, and now the potential destinations will begin to be talked about.

More from Charlotte Hornets

Stephenson quite simply hasn’t lived up to the expectations that were st for him when he originally agreed to a deal with Charlotte. He was expected to be a playmaker as well as a third scorer to help support both Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker.

Unfortunately, he has been unable to be the offensive threat that the Hornets were hoping to get by signing him. He has been somewhat of a playmaker and a great rebounder, but they need more scoring in a big way. Stephenson simply hasn’t fit into the system that they run, and it’s time to begin looking into potential trades.
