4. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

Peyton Manning has his team in position once again to make a run in the AFC playoffs, and he has powered his team to get to this point. Despite being 38 years old, he is still playing some of the best football of his career. Adding another MVP award to his legacy wouldn’t be something that he would hate to do at this stage in his career.

Through the first 14 regular season games this season, Manning has thrown for 4,143 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Those numbers are still some of the best in the NFL, and he is very deserving of this spot in the rankings. Denver has a very talented team, but everything that they have done has built around Manning being under center.

It isn’t likely that Manning can make any more moves up these rankings throughout the final two weeks of the season. He’ll likely end up getting some recognition, but won’t end up actually winning the MVP.

Next: 3. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts
