Dallas Cowboys defensive back Orlando Scandrick made it clear that it isn’t time to crown them just yet, following their NFL Sunday Night Football win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Orlando Scandrick was a big part of the Dallas Cowboys’ 38-27 win against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football this past week. The Cowboys defense came up big on a couple separate occasions, and they were able to force the Eagles’ offense out of their comfort zone.

Despite the big win, the Cowboys know that they cannot look at themselves as the division champions yet. They are currently in control of their own destiny, but they have to take care of their final two games before they get to that point.

“If we lose two games we’ll be 10-6 and out of it,” said Orlando Scandrick, via DallasCowboys.com. “It ain’t time to start crowning or saying what this says about this team. We need to keep our heads down and have tunnel vision and move on to the next.”

Dez Bryant also talked about staying focused on each game rather than looking ahead towards the playoffs.

“We have two games to go, and we’ve got to stay focused. That’s what it’s all about,” said Dez Bryant. “We’ve got to just pay attention to each other – we can’t get caught up in what’s going on around the league. Focus on what we’re doing, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”

Needless to say, the win against the Eagles was huge for them but they can’t get ahead of themselves. The Cowboys have two games left this year against the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins. Defeating the Colts isn’t going to be an easy task at all, and the Redskins have already defeated Dallas once this season.

It’s going to be a wild ride down the stretch of the season and into the playoffs this year. Tony Romo has had bad past experiences with winning down the stretch in big games, but hopefully for the Cowboys that won’t be the case this time around.
