Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt got an unexpected package in the mail, a letter and signed game jersey from a 7-year-old fan. The young fan, named Anthony Tarantelli, let Watt know that he was the most feared pass rusher in his league and was sending him an autographed jersey to remember him when he became famous.
Watt posted a picture of the jersey and letter on social media, but apparently went above and beyond that according to TMZ.
From TMZ:
"Lauren Tarantelli, Anthony’s mom, tells TMZ Sports … J.J. reached out to Anthony after getting the package and sent along a video message … in which he said Anthony can “expect something in the mail.”"
The kid would’ve been ecstatic with the video, but now he is getting this mystery package from Watt and you could assumed that it would at least include some autographed memorabilia. You’d have to think given the jersey Tarantelli sent, Watt would be sending back an autographed jersey as well.
In a league that is often shroud in controversy and a negative light lately, it is important to remember that not every one in the NFL is such a bad person.
