John Wall gave Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine a welcome to the NBA on Tuesday night and made him look every bit the rookie he is in the process.

There’s no question that John Wall very well could be considered the best guard in the NBA. Some might disagree with that, but the fact of the matter is that if he’s not the best right now, he’s well on his way with his ball handling and shooting skills.

Well both were on display Tuesday night as the Wizards took on the Timberwolves and Wall made rookie Zach LaVine look absolutely silly in the process.

In the first half on Tuesday night Wall had the ball at the top of the key with the shot clock winding down. With only LaVine in front of him, Wall proceeded to just dazzle everyone with the ball handling skills, skills that LaVine had a pretty hard time keeping up with.

Then to finish it all off, Wall nailed in the long two before the clock ran out.

Nasty, just way too nasty that was.

We know that LaVine can jump out of the gym, which is great, but he might wanna put some work in on that defense in the future.
