Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald thinks the team will be fine with Ryan Lindley at quarterback for the last two games.

He could be right, after all the Cardinals didn’t get to the top of the NFC West, and the league at a few points during the season, being wholly dependent on their quarterback play. On the other hand, the Cards’ offense looked pretty pathetic against the St. Louis Rams last week and the only reason they won the duel of field goals is because the Rams’ offense looked even more pathetic.
The problem, of course, is that the Cardinals are preparing to face their NFC West rivals in the Seattle Seahawks in prime time on Sunday.
The outcome of the game could very well decide the NFC West title.
Fitzgerald believes that Lindley can step it up to help the team win the division.
"“He’s a really cerebral young man, he’s been in the league for over three [years] and he works hard, extremely hard in the offseason,” Fitzgerald said during an interview on NFL Network. “We actually train together and he’s a student of the game, really focused. … We really believe in Ryan, he can make all the throws. We just got to protect him, make some plays for him outside, run the ball. We’re going to be just fine.” (via Pro Football Talk)"
Lindley was thrust into the spotlight in 2012 and was in the game when the Seahawks romped to a 58-0 win in Seattle in Week 14 of the 2012 season. Lindley was 8 for 17 and only 59 yards. However, he did not throw an interception in that game, despite the statistic that he has seven interceptions in his career and zero touchdowns.
The Cardinals could also focus on running the ball and depending on their stifling defense, but the Seahawks have been much better against the run since the return of linebacker Bobby Wagner. Either way, it will all be on the line Sunday.
