Elliot Seymour, the guy that Mickey Rourke fought and knocked out in Russia last month, says the fight was fixed and he was paid to fix it.

Totally shocking right? No one suspected a fix in a fight where the 62-year-old actor knocked out 29-year-old Seymour, certainly not.
Seymour initially denied the reports or at least suspicions that he was paid to lose the fight, saying that he only had a month to train, presumably a reason for getting knocked out by a guy twice his age.
Seymour also said he was struggling financially and had been living on the streets.
Now, however, his tune has changed. He’s mad at Rourke’s people for being slow to pay and he told TMZ Sports on camera that yes, the fight was indeed fixed.
Not that anyone who wasn’t completely gullible thought otherwise anyway, but it’s nice to have confirmation right? As for whether Rourke was in on the fix, well, it seems Seymour has a pretty strong opinion on that too, despite denials from Rourke’s camp.
SBN has the verbal breakdown.
"Seymour admitted that he was specifically told by Rourke’s handlers, and others who staged this complete farce, to go down in the second round. He was also instructed to not strike Mickey in the face at any point during the match. Seymour goes on to say that, to his knowledge, Rourke was not involved or even aware this whole staging was taking place, but that he hopes to get back in the ring soon for a legitimate fight."
Though you would think that Rourke could have figured it out during the fight, if he really didn’t know.
